Update – Metropolitan Nashville Police have identified the suspect as 20-year-old Daweit Solomon. He is wanted for Sunday’s shooting of a 19-year-old woman in the parking lot of Tanger Outlets. Arrest warrants have been issued charging Solomon with felony gun possession and especially aggravated robbery. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 615-742-7463.

Original Story – The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating a shooting outside Tanger Outlet stores. Around 4:50 p.m. today, a shooting in the roadway outside the stores took place. Police say it involved a dispute between a man and woman who are known to each other.

During the physical altercation, the man brandished a firearm and shot the female victim in the leg before running to his vehicle. Police have strong leads in the case, but the investigation is active and ongoing.

Police say the victim suffered non-critical injuries.
