The Delaware State Police has arrested a 42-year-old Laurel woman for felony assault in relation to a domestic incident that occurred in Seaford on Thursday morning. On December 21, 2023 around 10:35 a.m., troopers responded to a residence on North Street in Seaford for a report of an assault. Troopers learned that 42-year-old Tracy Wagner returned to her ex-boyfriend’s house on Thursday morning even though she was informed by troopers the night before that she was not permitted on the property.

Wagner allegedly yelled and knocked on the door. Her ex-boyfriend asked her to leave his property. As the victim was attempting to close his door, Wagner allegedly pepper sprayed into his residence striking a 62-year-old resident. Wagner fled in an unknown gray vehicle after stealing her ex-boyfriend’s keys from his running car which was parked in the driveway.

When troopers checked the area and Wagner’s address, they were unable to find her. A warrant was obtained for her arrest. Later that day, Wagner turned herself in at Troop 5. She is charged with two counts of Assault Second Degree, Theft Under $1,500, Disorder Conduct, and Criminal Trespass Third Degree.
