Update – The Knoxville Police Department has announced an arrest in the fatal shooting on East Oldham Avenue Saturday night. 34-year-old Stefen White, of Knoxville, was booked into the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility on second-degree murder.

Original Story – Knoxville Police Department received a report of a shooting at approximately 6:00 p.m. on December 23, 2023. Upon arrival at 427 E. Oldham Avenue, officers found a male victim inside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound(s).

Officers administered life-saving treatment but the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

No charges have been filed at this time.
