Update – Earlier today, Westminster Police arrested 24-year-old Seth Fernandez on a charge of 1^st Degree Murder in relation to this homicide. Police say the investigation is still in the early stages. It is anticipated that there will be charges.

Original Story – In Colorado, Westminster Police are investigating a double shooting. Around 10:35 p.m. on December 22, 2023, Westminster Police officers responded to a shooting in the parking lot at 8900 Harlan Street. At the scene, officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was taken to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A short time later, police were informed that another adult male was at the hospital suffering a gunshot wound. The other victim is in critical condition. Westminster Police believe an argument ensued involving multiple adult males in the parking lot.

During the argument, several males fired guns at each other. The Westminster Police does not believe there is a danger to the public.
