DC Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Sixth District have announced the arrest of a suspect who allegedly robbed people after meeting them for Facebook Marketplace transactions. Authorities say the suspect arranged to meet the victim, brandished a handgun, and took property from the victim. Then, the suspect fled the scene.

On August 17, 2023 around 9:01 p.m., a robbery occurred in the 5100 block of B Street SE. On August 19, 2023 around 9:23 a.m., a robbery occurred in the 5100 block of B Street SE. On December 3, 2023 around 2:17 p.m., a robbery occurred in the 3600 block of Highwood Drive SE.

On December 20, 2023, authorities arrested 19-year-old Isaiah James Green who is charged with Robbery.
