Wanted and 12-time convicted felon arrested by Spokane County authorities

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a wanted felon and 12-time convicted felon. The Investigative Unit requested assistance locating 42-year-old Michael R. Majestic on December 11, 2023. Majestic was driving a known vehicle and had eluded deputies twice in the previous week. The pursuits were ended due to restrictions of Washington State laws and the safety of the public.

On December 12, 2023, authorities received an Automatic License Plate Reader alert identifying the suspect’s vehicle in an area where Majestic was believed to be staying. Detectives responded to the scene, found the vehicle, and confirmed the residence where the vehicle was parked.

During surveillance, detectives observed Majestic moving back and forth between the residence and the car. A search warrant was obtained for the home. It was executed with help from a SWAT Team, due to Majestic’s violent criminal convictions. On December 13, 2023, a SWAT team set up a perimeter around the residence.

Majestic allegedly tried to escape through a rear window but was apprehended. Other occupants of the home were also detained. 34-year-old Matthew C. Miller was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Malicious Mischief 3rd Degree. 31-year-old Teanna J. Jackson was arrested for Violation of No Contact Order DV.

Majestic was booked into the Spokane County Jail on an outstanding Washington State DOC warrant for Escape from Community Custody along with new charges including Residential Burglary, Theft, Trafficking Stolen Property, and Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement.
