A 45-year-old female is facing a 7-year prison sentence after providing contraband to an inmate at the Tunica County Detention Center. Tunika Cooper of Horn Lake was arrested for furnishing drug contraband to a prisoner on December 20, 2023.

Cooper passed contraband to her alleged partner, Quinterrance Vardaman who is an inmate at the Tunica County Detention Center. According to a social media post from the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office, the contraband was an intended birthday gift for Vardaman.

The contraband was intercepted on December 18, 2023.
