A male was taken into custody following an investigation into a violent home invasion robbery in Valinda, California. Jeremy Dates was apprehended in Upland during a traffic stop on December 19, 2023.

Dates unlawfully entered a residence and beat the elderly female occupied. The victim sustained serious head and facial injuries during the assault.
