The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of suspects in a home invasion robbery. According to a press release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, a home invasion robbery took place in the 10800 block of Rosemary Way in Temescal Valley around 9 PM on December 6, 2023. As a result of the home invasion, a victim sustained injuries.
Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station investigators learned of a potential burglary crew that may be responsible for the home invasion and other residential burglaries in the Temescal Valley area. Lake Mathews deputies responded to another possible residential burglary in the 11200 block of Jasmine Way on December 8, 2023.
Upon arrival, deputies identified a suspect vehicle and pursued it to Lake Elsinore. Following a traffic stop, three suspects were detained. They include 20-year-old Jermaine Barnes Jr., 19-year-old Larry Settles, and 22-year-old Tionzae Mcgee-Beavers. Authorities say a search of their vehicle and search warrants of their homes led to stolen property and evidence tying them to the home invasion robbery as well as other residential burglaries.
The suspects were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center. Barnes and Mcgee-Beavers are charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and burglary charges. Settles is booked for burglary.
