New Jersey State Police need help identifying driver involved in road rage shooting

The New Jersey State Police has announced it is investigating a road rage shooting. According to a social media post from the New Jersey State Police, it is seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle allegedly involved in a road rage incident on Interstate 78 East in Readington Township.

Around 2:50 p.m. on December 15, the suspect was driving a white Dodge Ram Pickup truck with dual rear tires and black lettering displaying a business and DOT numbers on the passenger side of the vehicle. The suspect vehicle pulled up next to the driver of a tractor-trailer.

NJSP alleges one shot was fired from the suspect vehicle’s passenger side window. The engine compartment of the tractor-trailer was struck causing the vehicle to become disabled. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the NJSP Troop P Perryville Station at 908-730-7042.
