Titusville police worked a fatal crash involving a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle and an unidentified vehicle on December 16, 2023, after 4:00 a.m. The driver of a potentially black vehicle fled the scene before officers’ arrival.

Following a preliminary investigation, officers determined an identified vehicle ran a red light at the intersection of 3600 South Street and Park Avenue, hitting the Harley Davidson traveling northbound on South Street (SR 405). The Harley Davidson eventually crashed.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 34-year-old Ryan Emory Lobe. A female passenger of the Harley Davidson was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased at about 5:00 a.m. Lobe’s injuries were non-life threatening.
