A Gasconade County deputy patrolling in the area of Licklider Road saw a male run out of the woods and get into a parked vehicle. With the recently reported burglaries in the area, the deputy assumed a burglary was in progress upon his arrival.

The male who ran from the woods and another occupant in the vehicle was apprehended at gunpoint. The deputy recognized the male as having two outstanding arrest warrants out of Maries and Gasconade counties.

The male subject was identified as Heath L. Keeney.

Keeney was remanded to the Crawford County Detention Center.
