The Laurel Police Department has announced it responded to a call about a shooting on Oxford Drive this evening. According to a social media post from the Laurel Police Department, officers responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of Oxford Drive.

Authorities say the incident appears to be domestic related. There is no reason to believe there is a threat to the public. The Laurel Police Department confirmed it had one person in custody related to the shooting.
