The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 4200 block of Washington Avenue. Authorities say a fatal shooting occurred in the 4200 block of Washington Avenue just before 2 AM this morning. 52-year-old Wesley McGee was fatally shot by Marcus McGee during a domestic incident.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later passed away. Marcus McGee was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for manslaughter. The Baton Rouge Police Department is asking for anyone with information to call the Violent Crimes Unit at 225-389-4869.
