Robert Cross-McChristy In Custody After Investigation Shots Fired Yellowstone River Road In Billings

A 26-year-old man was arrested in connection with the discharge of a firearm in city limits. Robert Cross-McChristy was arrested on multiple charges, including criminal endangerment and criminal mischief (vandalism).

Billings Police Department was dispatched to the 900 block of Yellowstone River Road to investigate a report of shots fired. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found spent shell casings and bullet holes in a vehicle parked on the property.

The occupants of the residence provided the officers with the potential suspect’s name and description of the vehicle involved in the incident.

Officers were still at the scene when a vehicle matching the provided description returned. Robert Cross-McChristy was apprehended during a traffic stop.
