The Knoxville Police Department has apprehended a suspect following more than 90 minutes of negotiations. According to a social media post from KPD, the suspect barricaded themselves inside a camper in the 5300 block of West Martin Mill Pike.

Before the barricaded situation, the armed suspect allegedly fled from KPD officers in a stolen vehicle. The suspect was finally taken into custody following 90 minutes of negotiations led by Knoxville Police Department crisis negotiators and KCSO personnel.
