The Boston Police Department has arrested a suspect following a stabbing in the area of 209 Columbus Avenue. According to a press release from the Boston Police Department, District D-4 officers responded to the scene after dispatch received a radio call regarding someone with a knife.
As officers were en route to the scene, they were informed that a person had been stabbed at the location. Upon arrival, officers observed a victim with an apparent stab wound to his hand. Officers requested Boston EMS before the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers were made aware of the suspect’s description and learned the suspect had fled in a motor vehicle. The suspect was located and apprehended. 56-year-old Christopher Wild, of Boston, was arrested and charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.
