On November 2, 2023, at about 4:41 p.m., a 15-year-old male was involved in a physical altercation. A 47-year-old man trying to intervene was shot by the 15-year-old. The victim who is still unidentified suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the right ankle.

The incident took place in the 4300 Block of Belair Road, according to the report.

Following an investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect. The suspect is facing attempted first-degree murder charges.
