The Memphis Police Department is searching for shoplifters accused of pepper-spraying a store employee. Officers with the MPD responded to a report of shoplifting and assault at 2700 North Germantown Parkway on December 8, 2023. Just before 3 PM, three female suspects entered the Macy’s store and began gathering items.

Police say they left the store without paying. As they were leaving, one of the suspects allegedly pepper-sprayed a store employee. The suspects were seen fleeing the area in a silver SUV. The Memphis Police Department Appling Farms Station is asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects. Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
