The Green Bay Police Department is investigating a suspicious death on the city’s west side. According to a social media post from the Green Bay Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Western Avenue after 6:30 PM on December 9, 2023 to a reported disturbance between two individuals.

Upon arrival, officers found a 30-year-old male deceased inside the residence. Police administered CPR to the victim, but he was pronounced deceased. According to witness statements, the suspect had gone to a nearby residence where he asked to call 911 claiming he had been involved in a physical altercation.

In an update, Green Bay Police confirmed a 45-year-old Green Bay man had been arrested as a homicide suspect.
