Seattle Police are investigating after a male victim was stabbed multiple times late Thursday night in the Rainier Valley neighborhood. According to a press release from the Seattle Police Department, officers responded to a report of a male stabbed in the 8300 block of Wabash Avenue just after 10:30 PM on November 7, 2023. Upon arrival, officers located a 25-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

Officers provided life-saving aid until Seattle Fire Department personnel arrived. The male victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. According to authorities, a witness reported that she was sitting at the bus stop with the victim when they were approached by a male suspect.

The suspect asked something before pulling out a knife and stabbing the victim multiple times. Following the assault, the suspect fled the scene. Officers canvassed the area with help from Guardian One, but the suspect was not located. Homicide detectives are leading the investigation.
