The Baltimore Police Department has announced it has arrested a 48-year-old male and a 24-year-old female for occupying a stolen vehicle. Officers patrolling the Western District were notified of a License Plate Reader hit on a stolen vehicle around 10:31 PM on November 30, 2023. While canvassing the 1900 block of West Lafayette Avenue, officers spotted a stolen Kia Rio.

A traffic stop was initiated allowing officers to contact the occupants, a 48-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman. Authorities determined that the occupants were not the owners of the stolen vehicle. Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where they were charged accordingly.
