The Billings Police Department announced in a social media post that it had charged a suspect with eight counts of Assault with a Weapon, Felony Criminal Mischief, and DUI. The 55-year-old female is accused of deliberately driving at and through a religious gathering at 6th Avenue N/N 27th Street several times.

The Billings Police Department said the group was on the sidewalk at the time. One person was struck and suffered a minor injury. Following the incident, BPD located the suspect and arrested her.
