The Boston Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man in relation to a larceny of multiple packages in Mattapan. The incident happened in the area of River Street. A resident reported smelling cigarettes and observed several opened packages in the lobby of the building.

When management reviewed the camera footage, they saw the suspect forcing his way into the building before stealing 20 to 25 packages. He damaged others by ripping them open and taking the contents. Detectives assigned to District B-3 are handling the investigation.
