Mesa County, Colorado – The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred at a residence in Glade Park on Sunday afternoon.

According to an MCSO statement, deputies responded to a residence after the homeowner returned and found a female victim deceased. The Fruita Police Department located and apprehended the suspect.

MCSO says the suspect was transported to the Sheriff’s Office for questioning. Authorities believe this is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
