Lenoir County, North Carolina – The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media statement that it is on the scene of a shooting on Sunday.

According to an LCSO statement, deputies are on the scene of a shooting on Hickory Hill Drive in the Hickory Hill Trailer Park.

The Sheriff’s Office confirms that one person was shot, but the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening. The victim was transported to Vidant Health in Greenville.

Authorities also say several vehicles and trailers were struck by bullets. There is no danger to the community, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
