Clarksville, Tennessee – The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday evening.

According to a CPD social media statement, it received a 911 call about a shooting around 5:42 p.m. CPD says the caller was calling from 101st Adult Dentistry saying his passenger had been shot.

At the scene, officers found a 15-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Police determined that the shooting occurred at Chum’s Discount Tobacco Store at 811 Peachers Mill Road.

The victim was transported to Tennova Healthcare. The victim’s condition is not known at this time. CPD asks anyone in the area of Chum’s to check their video surveillance cameras around 5:30 p.m. to see if they notice anything suspicious.
