Galt, California – The Galt Police Department has announced the arrest of 23-year-old Justin Atkinson. According to GPD, Atkinson was arrested on multiple charges of sexual assault and elder abuse following an investigation into incidents at a medical facility in the 100 block of F Street.

Police say patients at the facility came forward to report being sexually assaulted by an employee. Authorities say the evidence identified Atkinson as the suspect responsible for the assaults.

Atkinson was suspended immediately after medical staff was made aware of the allegations. On January 28, GPD detectives took Atkinson into custody.

He was booked into the Sacramento County Mail Jail. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact GPD’s Communications Center at 209-366-7000.

Atkinson remains in custody with a bail of $200,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 30, 2025.
