Okeechobee County, Florida – The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of 60-year-old Ronald Walsh on four counts of Transmission of Child Pornography and four counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
According to an OCSO statement, the CID received an Internet Crimes Against Children Tip in December 2024. On January 7, 2025, CID served a probable cause search warrant at 1960 Southeast 9th Avenue in Okeechobee.
The Sheriff’s Office says Walsh was taken into custody at that time. Walsh’s bond was set at $240,000 and he bonded out. Authorities continued analyzing Walsh’s electronic devices. CID allegedly identified reported videos and additional illicit material.
On January 23, 2025, the State Attorney’s Office issued a capias for Walsh’s arrest and his bond was increased to $550,000. Walsh was arrested and remains behind bars.
