Hillsborough County, Florida – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a man for allegedly having an inappropriate and sexual relationship with a 15-year-old victim.

According to an HCSO statement, detectives began investigating allegations involving 22-year-old Maurice Skinner on January 14, 2025.

Detectives say it was determined that Skinner and the victim met at the victim’s house and engaged in sexual acts on January 13, 2025.

Skinner was taken into custody and booked into the Orient Road Jail on January 21, 2025. He is charged with one count of Lewd or Lascivious Battery.
