Utah County, Utah – The Utah County Sheriff’s Office has announced charges against 39-year-old Ricardo Prins of Eagle Mountain. According to UCSO, the officer was contacted about Prins and alleged unlawful sexual relationships with two underage females on December 15.

Authorities say Prins was a teacher at the Rockwell Charter school in Eagle Mountain at the time. It is alleged that Prins used his position to influence his victims.

UCSO SVU Detectives say that Prins left the country and returned to Brazil around the time of the notification.

Prins is facing 42 counts of Criminal Sexual Misconduct with the Juveniles, Aggravated Assault, and Obstruction of Justice. Detectives say they are working with Federal Law Enforcement partners to get Prins to return to the United States.
