Baltimore Police Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Otterbein Street just after 10:00 a.m. on November 27, 2023, to investigate a report of an aggravated assault by cutting. Responding officers located a 70-year-old woman suffering from a stab wound.

The elderly victim underwent surgery for a severe laceration and was listed in stable condition.

Bowles was booked on a first-degree attempted murder charge.
