Bexar County, Texas – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of 17-year-old Michael Christopher George. According to BCSO, a video surfaced showing George dragging a leashed dog behind his motorcycle on a gravel road.
Due to the speed of the motorcycle, the dog was unable to keep up. A witness provided critical footage of the incident which was followed by the sound of multiple gunshots.
BCSO says George claimed he shot the dog because it had bitten a sibling and attempted to cover up his actions by saying he had buried it in the woods.
Investigators say they found the deceased dog with multiple gunshot wounds and shell casings nearby. It is alleged that George changed his story multiple times during questioning and eventually admitted to shooting the dog while claiming he thought it was aggressive.
Michael Christopher George has been charged with Animal Cruelty.
