El Paso County, Colorado – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of 34-year-old Shandra Rathke.
Authorities say Rathke was booked into the El Paso County Jail after her bond was revoked on a charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
It is alleged that Rathke attempted to hide 2.64 grams of methamphetamine from deputies during the booking process and tried to ingest the drugs.
The Sheriff’s Office says deputies managed to intervene before she could ingest the drugs.
