Belton, Missouri – The Belton Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect following a third call to the same residence in the last week.

According to BPD, officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of Kenneth Lane on December 24, 2024. Police say officers found that a residence had been shot several times but no injuries were reported.

BPD says this is the third such incident involving the residence within the last week. Officers were reportedly able to identify a suspect and suspect vehicle.

The suspect vehicle was located at a nursing facility in Raymore a short time later, according to BPD. Authorities say the suspect was taken into custody and a firearm was recovered.

Pharrell Canady was charged with three counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon and three counts of Armed Criminal Action.
