Two men have been shot on Greenbelt Road, according to the Prince George’s Police Department.

PGPD said in a social media statement that its officers responded to the 8500 block of Greenbelt Road around 10:50 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

Police say responding officers found two adult males on the ground suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The men were taken to an area hospital where one of them passed away a short time later.

Police have not said anything about the events leading up to the shooting and have not provided any suspect information.
