A 19-year-old suspect in the August 18, vehicle Vs. pedestrian hit-and-run on N. Franklin Boulevard surrenders to the police. Aldo Miguel Gutierrez of Boise, Idaho, turned himself in at the Ada County Jail on December 5, 2023.

Nampa Police Department responded to the 16000 block of N. Franklin Boulevard on August 18, 2023, at 10:53 p.m. to investigate a crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian. The 29-year-old male victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the suspect vehicle was not present when officers arrived at the scene.

Nampa Police Persons Crime Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Gutierrez. Warrants were obtained for Gutierrez’s arrest.

Gutierrez has been charged with aggravated DUI, aggravated battery, use of a deadly weapon (vehicle) during a felony, and leaving the scene of an injury accident.
