The New Orleans Police Department said in a release that it is investigating a homicide in the 7900 block of Bullard Avenue.

According to NOPD, Seventh District officers responded to a medical call at the aforementioned location around 2:09 p.m. NOPD says its officers found a victim inside a residence.

EMS arrived and declared the victim deceased. Police say the investigation led investigators to determine that the man was the victim of a homicide.
