The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that a Springfield officer has been arrested for indecent behavior with a juvenile.

According to LPSO, detectives with the Special Victim’s Unit received a report from DCFS about an adult involved in inappropriate behavior with a juvenile on December 2, 2024.

Sheriff Jason Ard said that “the adult suspect was identified as 31-year-old Taylor Lewis”. Ard explains that Lewis was a law enforcement officer in the Town of Springfield.

The Sheriff also alleges that Lewis maintained an inappropriate relationship through several social media platforms with a juvenile. Taylor Lewis of Hammond was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center for Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile.
