The Spokane Police Department is investigating after a man was found deceased in the roadway. A social media post from the Spokane Police Department explains that police received a call about a subject injured in the roadway near North Pettet Drive and West Nora Avenue in Northwest Spokane around 5:30 AM on December 5, 2023.

First responders arrived and provided life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating. Although the victim was found in the roadway, authorities have not determined that it is related to a vehicle collision.
