The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office has provided an update on the discovery of skeletal remains. According to KCSO, skeletal remains were found in a wooded area off East York Street in Camden by kids playing in the woods around 5 p.m. on November 26, 2024.

Authorities confirmed that the remains were from a human. In an update around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, KCSO said a broader search of the area was done during daylight hours on Wednesday.
