The Garland Police Department reports that police have arrested two teens in connection to a shooting near Broadway Boulevard and Centerville Road on November 20.

Around 1:30 p.m. on November 21, Mesquite Police Officers located the suspect vehicle traveling on US Highway 80 near Gus Thomasson Road, according to authorities.

Police say the driver accelerated when officers attempted to carry out a traffic stop leading to a brief pursuit. GPD says the chase concluded when the vehicle crashed on Interstate 30.

GPD reports that the vehicle contained an unidentified driver and two suspects involved in the Garland shooting, a 15-year-old Hispanic male and 17-year-old Anthony De Los Santos.

The 15-year-old is charged with Evading Arrest, Tampering with a Witness, and two counts of Deadly Conduct. Santos is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Tampering with a Witness, Evading Arrest, and two counts of Deadly Conduct.

The suspects are being held at the Garland Detention Center.
