New Orleans Police arrest one suspect and identify two others in shooting that killed one and injured three

The New Orleans Police Department says it has arrested one suspect and is looking for two others in connection to a homicide case.

NOPD reports that it arrested Nicholas Miorana and obtained arrest warrants for Daniel Miorana and Darrell Adams. The charges are connected to a homicide that occurred on November 21 in the 700 block of Iberville Street.

One person was killed and three others were injured by gunfire. Around 12:21 p.m. today, police say a homicide by shooting occurred in the 700 block of Iberville Street.

A 27-year-old female victim was killed. Three adults were injured. They include a 40-year-old male, a 39-year-old female, and a 24-year-old male.

The victims were transported to an area hospital via EMS. NOPD says the perpetrators’ vehicle was located near the Crower Boulevard exit on Interstate 10 West.

According to NOPD, multiple subjects were found in the vehicle, detained, and identified. Detectives also say they obtained a search warrant for the vehicle and the residence of the occupants.

Detectives allege that they discovered evidence in both locations that pertained to the incident. According to Homicide Section Detectives, arrest warrants were obtained for Nicholas Miorana, Daniel Miorana, and Darrell Adams.

Each is charged with one count of Second-Degree Murder and three counts of Attempted Second-Degree Murder. Police say Nicholas Miorana was detained at the scene. He was found to be wearing an ankle monitor at the time. Daniel Miorana and Admas are not in custody.

Police also say Adams is wanted in connection to an Aggravated Battery by Shooting incident that occurred on September 25, 2024. Anyone with information is asked to call NOPD at 504-658-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 504-822-1111.
