Woman arrested following bomb threat at Eugene Airport

The Eugene Police Department says it received a notification of a bomb threat at the Eugene Airport around 3:07 p.m. on November 20, 2024.

According to EPF, airport officers, Metro Explosives Disposal Unit, a UOPD Bomb K9 Unit, and EPD investigators responded to the scene.

As a result of the bomb threat, the airport suspended regular operations. Investigators say the suspect was identified as 36-year-old Aubrey Michelle High of Philomath.

High was detained by the Philomath Police Department for EPD. Authorities say it was confirmed that there were no explosives and the call was a hoax.

The airport’s operations returned to normal just after 4:40 p.m. High was charged with one count of Disorderly Conduct in the First Degree.
