The Louisville Metro Police said in a social media post that it had arrested a suspect in connection to a shooting in the 2600 block of West Broadway on November 8, 2024.

Police say a 40-year-old man was transported to an area hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound to the head.

On November 18, 2024, LMPD announced the arrest of 45-year-old Broderick Adolphus Clarkson of Louisville.

Clarkson is charged with Assault 1st and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. No other details are available at this time.
