The Santa Clara Police Department reports that it is investigating the death of a 14-year-old boy who may have committed suicide on November 5.
SCPD says its officers responded to the 3400 block of Alameda in Santa Clara to investigate a report of a 14-year-old male who committed suicide. Authorities say they took life-saving measures, but the male juvenile was pronounced deceased at 11:36 p.m.
Santa Clara Police say the preliminary investigation did not yield any evidence of foul play although the investigation remains open and active. SCPD says its Investigations Division is reviewing evidence and all factors including bullying that may have led to the juvenile’s death.
