The Prince William County Police Department reports that it is searching for 28-year-old Yovani Anthony Martinez who is wanted for Malicious Wounding. Police say officers responded to a residence in the 1500 block of Florida Avenue in Woodbridge around 11:05 p.m. on November 8 to investigate a domestic dispute.

Police say a 52-year-old man and a family member were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical. At some point, the victim sustained lacerations to the face.

PWCPD reports that the parties separated and the suspect fled the area before police arrived the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have obtained an arrest warrant for Yovani Anthony Martinez who is not in custody at this time.
