The Gwinnett County Police Department reports that its officers are investigating a shooting that left one deceased. GCPD says officers assigned to the West Precinct responded to 2400 Windsor Woods Lane in unincorporated Norcross in reference to a person shot around 4 p.m. on November 8.

Police say one man was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Homicide Investigators are reportedly canvassing the area and carrying out interviews. GCPD says its Crime Scene Unit is also processing the scene for evidence.

Police say the preliminary information indicates that at least two men were involved in an altercation that led to shots being fired. One man has been detained.
