The Arlington Police Department is investigating a homicide after a 29-year-old man was found in a car with multiple gunshot wounds. A press release from APD explains that officers responded to an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Forest Hollow Lane for a reported shooting around 7:23 PM on December 3, 2023.

Upon arrival, residents directed officers to a vehicle in the parking lot. Officers observed a 29-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of the automobile. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to identify the victim after the next of kin has been notified. APD detectives are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting as well as a possible motive.

No arrests have been made and APD has not provided any suspect information.
