Portland Police arrest 35-year-old in stabbing on Northwest Flanders Street

The Portland Police Bureau reports that its officers responded to the 2300 block of Northwest Flanders Street for a report of a stabbing around 3:15 p.m. on November 6, 2024. PPB says officers found a victim who was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Police say officers obtained a description of the suspect. The suspect was reportedly arrested at Northwest Flanders Street and Northwest Westover Road. PPB has identified the suspect as 35-year-old Zachary Kelso.

Kelso was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on two counts of Assault in the First Degree.
